Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Presidential Advisor on Special Assignments of Uzbekistan, Sardor Umurzakov, held meetings with the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in Beijing, where he discussed ways to deepen bilateral cooperation.

Liu Jianchao, Head of the CPC Central Committee’s International Liaison Department, met with Umurzakov to discuss the implementation of key agreements reached by the leaders of the two countries.

During the talks, both sides explored prospects for expanding interparty cooperation, exchanging experience in state governance, and measures to support the high-quality development of China-Uzbekistan relations.

Umurzakov also held a meeting with Li Shulei, member of the CPC Central Committee’s Politburo and Head of the Central Propaganda Department. He emphasized that last year, the heads of state elevated China-Uzbekistan relations to a new level of an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership. The Chinese side reaffirmed its commitment to further strengthening cooperation, including interparty exchanges and enhancing cultural and humanitarian ties.

For his part, Sardor Umurzakov reiterated Uzbekistan’s commitment to strengthening engagement with China across various fields, as well as supporting the implementation of strategic objectives set by the leaders of both nations.
