Samarkand to Host EU-Central Asia Education Ministers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Samarkand is preparing to host a high-level meeting of the Ministers of Higher Education from Central Asian countries and the European Union, alongside a Congress of University Rectors focusing on technological and medical fields, scheduled for 13–14 April.
In anticipation of these major international events, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland with Waldemar Siwinski, the founder of the "Perspektywy" educational foundation, to discuss preparations.
To ensure comprehensive media coverage across the European Union and Poland, a representative from the Polish Press Agency (PAP) has been included in the delegation. This will facilitate real-time reporting to the international community regarding the forums' progress and the outcomes of the inter-university dialogue.
The upcoming events are viewed as a vital platform for promoting Uzbekistan's educational reforms on the global stage. The meetings in Samarkand are expected to stimulate academic cooperation, the exchange of innovative technologies, and the strengthening of direct ties between universities in the region and Europe.
