Samarkand International Airport Unveils Spring-Summer Schedule
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2026, Samarkand International Airport has transitioned to its spring-summer flight schedule, expanding routes and increasing frequency on popular destinations.
Among the priority routes are Russian airports in Moscow. Weekly flights to Vnukovo have increased from 23 to 34, Sheremetyevo from 5 to 7, Domodedovo from 11 to 12, and Zhukovsky from 4 to 7.
The second most popular international destination is Istanbul. Turkish Airlines and Uzbekistan Airways have collectively raised the frequency to 13 flights per week. Ural Airlines has also increased flights to Yekaterinburg to four weekly.
SunExpress will begin operating three weekly flights to Izmir, while Vietjet Air Qazaqstan will launch flights to Astana with the same frequency. Centrum Air’s new flights to Tashkent have raised the city’s weekly flights to ten.
For the new season, Uzbekistan Airways will introduce direct flights to Tel Aviv and increase flights to Kazan to twice weekly.
The expanded schedule reflects growing demand for both international and domestic travel, providing passengers with more options and convenient planning opportunities.
