Samarkand Hosts “Dishes of the East” International Festival
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Samarkand hosted the international gastronomic festival “Dishes of the East,” featuring more than 100 local and foreign chefs.
Over two days, participants showcased their culinary skills, introducing visitors to a diverse range of national and international culinary traditions. Special attention was given to masterclasses led by experienced chefs, allowing attendees not only to taste the dishes but also to learn the secrets of their preparation.
On the second day, the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road” held a conference with leading foreign chefs. Discussions focused on promoting Eastern cuisine internationally and popularizing national culinary traditions.
The festival provided a unique platform for professional exchange and inspired visitors to explore the cultural and gastronomic heritage of the East.
