Samarkand and Turkestan Regions Expand Tourism Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation of entrepreneurs and tourism representatives from Kazakhstan, led by Akim of Turkestan Region Nuralkhan Kusherov, visited Samarkand for a bilateral meeting.

During the talks, both sides discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in tourism, implementing joint projects, and strengthening economic ties between the two regions.

The visit included B2B meetings between business representatives from Samarkand and Turkestan, during which partnerships were established in tourism, hospitality, and handicrafts.

Participants emphasized that the meeting contributes to strengthening friendly relations between the two brotherly regions and creates new opportunities to develop their tourism potential.
