Samarkand and Sughd regions sign contracts and memorandums for US$107.84m

In Samarkand, a business forum was held with the participation of entrepreneurs from Samarkand region and Sughd region of Tajikistan, UzA reported.

More than 200 business people from Tajikistan and representatives of large enterprises and companies of Samarkand took part in the event. Participants took part in the exhibition of products and services of the two regions, exchanged views.

The forum provided information on the created opportunities and facilities for establishing and developing cooperation between entrepreneurs of the two countries, tax and customs privileges. Large industrial enterprises, travel companies, farmers and entrepreneurs held presentations of their products and services.

The leaders of the two regions signed a memorandum on development of trade and economic relations between the Samarkand and Sughd regions.
