Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Governor of Samarkand Region, Adiz Boboev, held a meeting with the leadership of MATRADE, Malaysia’s national trade development corporation. The discussions took place with the organization’s chairman, Reezal Merican Nain Merican.

During the talks, both sides explored prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation, supporting exports, and promoting products from Samarkand Region in international markets.

Particular attention was given to organizing joint initiatives, including international exhibitions, business forums, and multi-sector trade and investment missions involving leading business representatives.

The Malaysian side expressed readiness to assist regional companies in entering Southeast Asian markets.

The meeting was conducted in a constructive and businesslike atmosphere, resulting in agreements to further strengthen cooperation and implement joint projects.
