Sales of GM Uzbekistan in Russia slip by 46% in Jan-Dec

Sales of automobiles of GM Uzbekistan in Russia fell by 46% year-on-year in January-December 2015 to 20,451 units, the statement of the Automobile Manufacturers Committee of the Association of European Businesses said.
The Uzbekistan-based carmaker realized 1,698 automobiles in the Russian market in December 2015, which decreased by 27% compared to the same month of 2014, the committee added.
Share of GM Uzbekistan in Russian market made up 1.3% in 2015 against 1.6% in the same period of 2014, the committee said.
In 2015, GM Uzbekistan claimed the 21st place on sales of automobiles in Russia. None of models, produced at GM Uzbekistan, entered to the Top-25 of the best-selling cars in the reporting period.
