Saida Mirziyoyeva Reviews Projects in Samarkand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During a working visit to Samarkand, Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva familiarized herself with a number of socially significant and infrastructure projects.

In particular, she visited the site of the future Children’s Library, which will be housed in a historic building dating back to 1911. The project places special emphasis on inclusivity: an audio library is planned for children with visual impairments, expanding access to literature for all categories of children.

Additionally, during a meeting at the Samarkand Congress Center, measures for the rational use of water resources and improvement of water quality were discussed.

Saida Mirziyoyeva highlighted the importance of targeted allocation of water resources, construction of small hydropower plants, and the introduction of innovative technologies in agricultural projects aimed at the efficient management of the region’s water resources.
