Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Carolyn Lamm, Chair of the American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce, to discuss the development of bilateral business cooperation and identify key priorities for future collaboration.

During the talks, both sides reviewed the current state of U.S.-Uzbekistan trade and economic relations and outlined directions for further engagement. Special attention was given to the expansion of women’s entrepreneurship and the promotion of equal opportunities within the business environment.

The two parties praised the Uzbek-American Business Forum as an effective platform for direct dialogue. The forum brings together more than 150 representatives from both countries’ business communities to discuss innovative projects and investment opportunities.

During the meeting, Saida Mirziyoyeva received a special award recognizing her contributions to enhancing government transparency and modernizing Uzbekistan’s information policy.

“I sincerely thank Ms. Lamm for her kind recognition of our efforts to strengthen the principles of openness, improve public communications, and reform the country’s information sphere,” stated the presidential aide.
