Saida Mirziyoyeva Discusses Trade and Security Cooperation with U.S. Delegation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with a U.S. delegation led by the Special Representative of the President of the United States for South and Central Asia, Sergio Gor, and Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau.

During the meeting, particular attention was given to new opportunities for developing trade relations between the two countries, as well as strengthening cooperation in public safety.

Mirziyoyeva noted that senior U.S. administration officials emphasized the scale and dynamism of the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan under President Shavkat Mirziyoyeva over the past eight years.

She highlighted that such meetings help better understand and unlock the potential of both sides. Thanks to the policy of openness, Uzbekistan is becoming increasingly attractive for implementing joint projects in education, culture, the economy, and other areas.
