Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan appointed a new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the State of Israel.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Said Rustamov became the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Israel. On 28 June 2018, he left Tashkent for Tel-Aviv.

Prior to this appointment, Said Rustamov worked as head of the Department of Cooperation with the Americas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
