SAGE Program Launches in Uzbekistan to Boost Green Economy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A strategic initiative, the "SAGE" Entrepreneurship Accelerated Growth Support Program, is launching in Uzbekistan. The program aims to develop a sustainable, inclusive, and innovative next-generation economy.

Implemented by Virtual Accelerate with the support of the Swiss Government and in partnership with "Intro Group" and "U-ENTER," the program unites key ecosystem participants to provide comprehensive business support.

The initiative targets both startups and existing entrepreneurs seeking to scale, increase competitiveness, and enter new markets. Special attention is given to the development of female and youth entrepreneurship, as well as businesses implementing environmentally sustainable solutions.

The program includes three distinct tracks:

• Green Start — Support for environmentally sustainable startups;
• Women Cup — Development and scaling of women's entrepreneurship;
• Youth Cup — Engaging young people in the creation and development of startups.

As part of the SAGE initiative, more than 100 entrepreneurs will gain access to incubation and acceleration tools, expert mentorship, educational programs, and opportunities for strategic partnerships with investors, the corporate sector, and development institutions.

The program facilitates increased investment readiness for businesses, expands access to financing, and disseminates best practices in entrepreneurship through communication campaigns, storytelling, and digital tools.

The launch of SAGE establishes a platform for the sustainable growth and innovative development of entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan, opening new opportunities for the formation of the economy of the future.
