Simon McDonald highly rated adoption of the Action Strategy on the five priority development directions of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2017-2021. He also expressed readiness for active cooperation with Uzbekistan on implementation of relevant programs and projects within the framework of this document.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on priority areas of political, trade and economic investment and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, as well as strengthening of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Uzbekistan and Great Britain.
