Sadriddin Khasanov Nominated for AFC Young Player of the Year

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 16 October 2025, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will hold its annual awards ceremony recognizing the top performers in Asian football.

The event will honor players, coaches, and officials who have excelled in major 2025 tournaments, including the AFC U-17 and U-20 Asian Cups and other continental-level competitions.

Among the nominees in various categories is Uzbekistan U-17 national team player Sadriddin Khasanov, competing in the “Young Player of the Year” category. He will face rivals Alex Badolato (Australia) and Hamid Yousuf (Saudi Arabia).

Earlier this year, Khasanov was named the Best Player of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup held in Saudi Arabia.

Winners will be announced during the awards ceremony.
