Rustam Kadirov: "The release of budget cars for us in priority"

Media representatives asked to talk about the plans of the largest car manufacturer in Uzbekistan.

“Today, the company is trying to cover all segments of passenger car production,” said Rustam Yusupov, deputy chairman of the board of Uzavtosanoat. - However, the emphasis, nevertheless, is on the production of budget cars. We are currently working on the release of models that will be in greater demand. ”

“Models that are currently being prepared for production will be completely new. Their production will begin in parallel with those being produced today,” Rustam Kodirov, head of the strategic planning department of Uzavtosanoat, added. “However, the company needs substantial investments to successfully implement these plans.”

Rustam Kodirov also noted that in addition to the budget, it is planned to update the line of cars in the premium segment. In particular, we are talking about such models as the Chevrolet Equinox crossover, Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV and Chevrolet Traverse family crossover.

“Production of these cars is scheduled to begin at the end of this or early next year. Now three such models have been brought to Uzbekistan for tests and studies. The output will depend exclusively on demand,”Rustam Kodirov specified.
