Russia’s Defenсe Minister to discuss international and regional security in Uzbekistan

The Russian Federation Defence Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu has arrived in Tashkent to discuss issues of international and regional security, as well as Russia-Uzbekistan bilateral cooperation, the Russian Ministry’s press service said in a statement.
The Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Army General Sergei Shoigu has arrived on an official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan. In accordance with the visit programme, the RF Defence Minister will be received by Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also will hold a working meeting with Major General Abdusalom Azizov, the Minister of Defence of the Republic.
During the talks, the head of the Russian military department is to discuss the problems of international and regional security, topical issues of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation.
