Russians Name the Best Hotels in Uzbekistan Based on 2025 Results
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — For the fifth time, the Russian online hotel and apartment booking service Ostrovok has presented its annual “Ostrovok! Guests’ Choice 2025” ranking, which this year includes 77 accommodation facilities from five cities in Uzbekistan.
The award winners comprise both international and domestic hotel chains as well as independent hotels, apartments, and guesthouses that have demonstrated a consistently high level of service.
All properties included in the ranking met key criteria: an average guest rating of at least 9 out of 10, a substantial number of reviews and completed stays, and a minimal number of service-related issues throughout the year. Among the top-rated hotels in Tashkent were Royal Sebzor Expo, Inspira-S Tashkent, Avant Wellness Hotel, Zahid Inn, InterContinental Tashkent, and Reikartz Sote Tashkent.
In Samarkand, the ranking featured Old City Samarkand, Sangzor Boutique Hotel, Sherdor Registan, and others. Bukhara was represented by Sarhad, Mumtoz East, Wyndham Bukhara, Mercure Bukhara Old Town, and the Sadifa guesthouse. The Ferghana Hotel represented the city of Ferghana, while Khiva was represented by Bibihojar and Sulton-Sayyor.
Special attention this year was given to dedicated categories. In the “Legends” category, awarded to properties that have received the distinction for three consecutive years, the Uzbekistan honorees were Inspira-S Tashkent Hotel, Zahid Inn, and Bukhara Baraka Boutique Hotel. A new category, “Opening of the Year,” was introduced for newly opened properties that demonstrated a high standard of service from their first months of operation.
In Uzbekistan, this category included Express Tashkent Hotel&Spa by Avant Hotels, Old City Samarkand, Sarhad, Royal Sebzor Expo, Avant Wellness Hotel, and Mumtoz East.
Based on the results of 2025, the ranking covers more than 3,700 accommodation facilities across Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Abkhazia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. Award recipients receive a special badge on their property page and a mark in the “Awards” section on the websites of all three services within the Ostrovok group, making recognized properties easily identifiable for tourists, travel agents, tour operators, and business travelers. Hoteliers also receive stickers and certificates for display at their properties.
“‘Ostrovok! Guests’ Choice’ is an award based on real guest experience. The growing number of participants in the ranking each year reflects qualitative changes in the hospitality industry. Service standards are improving across the board—from large hotels to small accommodation facilities that increasingly meet high quality benchmarks. The hospitality market is becoming more diverse and mature, setting sustainable quality guidelines for the entire industry,” said Daria Kochetkova, Managing Director of the Ostrovok Group.
