Russian export center to open its representative office in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russian Export Center, during a business mission to Uzbekistan, will hold a solemn opening ceremony of its representative office in Tashkent.
The integrated business mission of the REC is timed to the visit of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the First Forum of Interregional Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The business mission will be held on 18-19 October 2018 in Tashkent, its main goal will be to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, identify potential and ways of cooperation in the field of export, create a base of business contacts, as well as attract potential investors in Uzbekistan.
During the First Forum of Interregional Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan, a series of business mission events will be organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Russian Federation, the Russian Export Center and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On 18 October, 2018, the program of events at Uzexpocenter will open a business breakfast with the participation of the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Botir Khodjaev, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Sergey Levin, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan Adham Ikramov, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Tyurdenev, First Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Federation Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management Serg her Lisovsky.
Participants will discuss the export potential of the Russian regions, the role of state authorities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan in supporting joint projects, the prospects for new free economic zones in the Republic of Uzbekistan, improving legislation in the field of foreign investment, as well as financial and non-financial support tools for Russian export-oriented companies.
In the course of the business mission, a series of pitch sessions of presentations of Russian companies will be held in the following areas: energy, engineering, information technology and transport. During the pitch-sessions of the company - participants of the business mission of the Russian Export Center will present their projects in order to attract potential importers. There will also be a “Contact Exchange of Business Representatives from Russia and Uzbekistan” - a series of bilateral B2B meetings in which about 400 representatives of various companies and more than 100 Russian exporters will take part.
The conclusion of the business day will be the session “Uzbekistan - Russia: textile cooperation without borders”.
On 19 October 2018, a representative office of the Russian Export Center will be opened in Tashkent. Also for the participants of the business mission will be organized a visit to the business facilities of Uzbekistan.
