Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Grigory Karasin held a telephone conversation with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plepatentuary of Uzbekistan to Russia Ilkhom Nematov on 24 December.

The sides discussed current state and perspectives of the Russian-Uzbek regions in context of the upcoming visit of the Uzbek President Islam Karimov to the Russian Federation.
