Russia, Uzbekistan discuss mutual beneficial terms of cooperation

A delegation of Russia led by director of department on interaction with the bodies of Customs Union and economic cooperation with the CIS states of the Ministry of Economic Development Aleksandr Tsibulskiy paid a visit to Uzbekistan to hold bilateral negotiations on issues of organizing and improving direct supply of fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan to Russia.
The Russian delegation included representative of Novosibirsk region, Permsk and Krasnodar region, as well as Moscow city, as well as Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan Konstantin Artyshin, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia said.
The Uzbek side was represented by officials of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan, state foreign trade companies Uzinterimpeks, Markazsanoatexport, Uztadbirkorexport,Uzprommashimpex and Uzmarkazimpex.
During the talks, the sides considered issues of cooperation among suppliers and consumers, as well as supply of seed potatoes from Novosibirsk to Uzbekistan.
