Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russia donated sets of test systems for the detection of coronavirus to Uzbekistan for free of charge. This was announced at a briefing on Friday by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, TASS reports.
Maria Zakharova also said that not only in Uzbekistan, but also in neighboring countries, the Russian Foreign Ministry is helping Russians who need help either in repatriation or in providing assistance on the spot.
“In connection with the current situation, in order to assist Uzbekistan, the Russian side sent sets of test systems for diagnosing the virus to the partners at no cost. They were already produced by the well-known Vector structure within the framework of Rospotrebnadzor,” she said.
“And here we work very tightly and through embassies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and public organizations. Therefore, the work is very active,” Zakharova added.
