Russia Delivers 42 Head of Cattle from Tomsk Region to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Siberian Interregional Directorate of Rosselkhoznadzor has approved the export of 42 head of cattle from the Tomsk region to Uzbekistan.
Before shipment, specialists from the agency, together with the regional veterinary service, conducted a thorough inspection of the animals, verifying ear-tag identification numbers against the veterinary certificate and confirming their presence in the Federal State Information System “VetIS” (“Khoryot”). Inspectors also assessed transport conditions, the animals’ health, and the sanitary condition of the vehicle.
Following documentary and physical inspections, the cattle were deemed compliant with Uzbekistan’s veterinary requirements.
The Tomsk region supplies livestock to Uzbekistan on a regular basis: since the beginning of the year, 277 head have already been exported, including 38 in April, 32 in May, 65 in August, 30 in September, and 70 in November.
These deliveries help meet the needs of Uzbekistan’s livestock sector and strengthen agricultural cooperation between the two countries.
