Russia Defeats Uzbekistan in Second Friendly Futsal Match in Bukhara

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Russian men’s futsal team defeated Uzbekistan in the second friendly match between the teams, held on December 21 in Bukhara. The game took place on the court of the Sports Complex at Bukhara University and ended with a 3-1 victory for the Russians.

After a scoreless first half, the hosts took the lead in the 28th minute, but just two minutes later, Russia’s captain Artyom Niyazov equalized. Three minutes before the final whistle, Niyazov put his team ahead, and shortly thereafter, Kirill Shchurok scored to establish the final score of 3-1.

It is worth recalling that the first friendly match between the teams, held on 19 December, ended with a 3-2 victory for the Uzbek side.
