Russia and Uzbekistan Reaffirm Strategic Partnership

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 10 April, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Galuzin, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Russia, Botirjon Asadov.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the context of upcoming high-level interstate contacts. Current aspects of interaction between the respective foreign ministries were also addressed.

The exchange of views confirmed a mutual commitment to the further strengthening of relations between Russia and Uzbekistan, based on the principles of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance.
