Routine Road Repairs and Pothole Restoration Begin In Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Routine maintenance of road surfaces, including patching and pothole repairs, has commenced in Tashkent, the city administration reports.

From 19 February 2026, work has been carried out on streets with public transport routes as well as on residential roads across all districts of the capital.

A total of 56 pieces of specialized machinery and 208 workers have been deployed for the repairs. On the first day, asphalt milling was completed over an area of 6,036.5 m², and patching with asphalt concrete was carried out on 406 m².

The repair work will continue according to the established plan, taking weather conditions into account, to ensure comfortable and safe movement for residents and visitors of the city.
