Route of passenger train “Tashkent-Urgench” is extended to Khiva

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Temir Yollari  (Uzbekistan Railways) extended the route of the passenger train No. 56 in the direction Tashkent - Urgench to Khiva.

This decision was made to create favorable conditions for the development of domestic tourism in Uzbekistan.

The train departs from the Tashkent-Yuzhny station every Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Passenger train No. 56 with the route “Tashkent-Urgench-Khiva” departs at 20:30 from the Tashkent-Yuzhny station and arrives at the Urgench station at 11:24. From Urgench the train leaves at 11:35 and arrives in Khiva at 12:05.

Passenger train No. 55 with the route “Khiva-Urgench-Tashkent” leaves the Khiva station at 13:45 and arrives at the Urgench station at 14:15. From Urgench to Tashkent, the train departs at 15:25. Arrival time at the station "Tashkent-Yuzhny" is 06:58.
