Round table “Investment Opportunities between Uzbekistan and India” takes place in Delhi
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A few days ago, a round table on “Investment Opportunities between Uzbekistan and India” was held at the head office of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CIP) in Delhi. The event was organized by the embassy of Uzbekistan in Delhi and CIP.
The event was attended by representatives of Indian business circles, in particular, large member companies of the Confederation, Dunyo agency reported.
The Uzbek delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, the Agency for Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry, the Uzcharmsanoat Association, as well as the khokimiyats of Andijan and Bukhara regions.
During the presentations, representatives of the Indian business community were provided with detailed information about the created favorable conditions in the Republic of Uzbekistan for foreign investors. Indian entrepreneurs received detailed answers to all their questions.
Within the framework of the past B2B meetings, the Indian side was presented specific investment projects in the context of the regions and industries of Uzbekistan.
The participants of the event expressed interest in projects in the automotive sector, leather, food and other industries.
It is worth noting that the Confederation of Indian Industry was founded in 1895. Currently, its members are 8,300 representatives of the private and public sectors, as well as more than 200 thousand enterprises from 250 national and regional branch bodies.
