Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 October 2019, the Federal Air Transport Agency took part in the first meeting of the Sub-Commission on Cooperation in the Field of Transport of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Together with the Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, mutual interest was confirmed in the development of further cooperation in the field of civil aviation, including certification of aircraft.

The parties agreed in the near future to work out the issue of signing a Working Agreement on cooperation in the field of airworthiness.
