Rosatom Discusses Creation of Atomgrad in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev held detailed discussions with Saida Mirzieva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, on the creation of Atomgrad in the country, according to TASS.

Likhachev emphasized that special attention was given to the social aspects of the project.

“We discussed creating Atomgrad as a comfortable place to live, featuring modern healthcare, quality education, and infrastructure capable of developing a new generation of nuclear industry specialists,” he told journalists.

According to him, the project aims to train highly qualified personnel who will contribute to the advancement of science, technology, and industry in Uzbekistan, laying the foundation for a sustainable and innovative center.
