Development Strategy Center is implementing a project on opening rooms of the Strategy of Action in all universities of Uzbekistan. The project is implemented to increase social activity of young people in realization and popularization of the Strategy of Action.

The official opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the IUT administration, the Development Strategy Center, students, as well as mass media.

The Room of Strategy of Action opened in order to increase participation of young people in implementation and popularization of the Strategy of Action on five priority development directions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021, as well as actively involve the younger generation in the social life of the country.

The Room of Strategy of Action will attract students to the ranks of the volunteers of Strategy of Action. The volunteers will be engaged in informational support of the activities, carried out within the framework of the Strategy of Action, study of public opinion through interviews, organization of seminars and trainings. The volunteers will also initiate various youth and educational projects.

Rector of Inha University in Tashkent Sarvar Babakhodjaev said: “The Strategy of Action, adopted in February 2017, is a complex programme, directed at further reforming Uzbekistan. The strategy covers all areas of our life, including issues of improving the education sector, the state youth policy, as well as strengthening the role and place of youth in process of deepening democratic reforms.”

“Youth should play an integral role in conducting reforms in Uzbekistan and implementing the Strategy of Action. This room of Strategy of Action will help our students to study the Strategy of Action and contribute to development of Uzbekistan through implementation of innovative projects,” he added.
