MPs stressed that currently, at citizens’ gatherings there are conciliation commissions, which deal with the solution of family problems through reconciliation before their case considered at courts.

In accordance with the amendments to the Family Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the rule is set, which obliges courts and family registrar offices to inform conciliation commissions about divorce cases.

This measure will allow the conciliation commissions to receive information in advance about possible divorces and try to reconcile the spouses.
