Roland Berger GmbH to develop a concept for the future development of roads in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Roland Berger GmbH (Germany) will develop a Concept for the future development of roads in Uzbekistan.

The President of Uzbekistan signed a resolution “On measures to attract advanced foreign methods of organizing work in the construction and operation of highways”.

The document notes that Roland Berger GmbH will develop Concepts for the future development of highways with the involvement of leading foreign consulting companies. The cost of services of the German company will be 2.6 million euros.

Earlier it was reported that the concept will include the introduction of modern standards and technologies in the design, construction and reconstruction, as well as the repair of roads, depending on their categories, providing improved quality and service life of roads.

The document will determine the policy for financing the design, construction, reconstruction and repair of roads, including on the terms of a public-private partnership.
