According to the body, the verdict against J. Kosimov and N. Urazova was announced on 27 June. They were found guilty in intentional homicide, robbery and other serious crimes.
Representing themselves as workers of utility companies, medical establishments and social welfare bodies, Kosimov and Urazova enter houses of single elder people, where they committed homicide, robbery and other grave crimes.
J. Kosimov was sentenced for life-long imprisonment, while Urazova received a 15-year jail term, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan said.
Kosimov and Urazova will also have pay material and moral damage to victims of their crimes.
