Retail trade turnover of Uzbekistan reaches 71.025 trln. soums in 2015

Retail trade turnover of Uzbekistan was 71.025 trillion soums in 2015, which grew by 15.1% year-on-year, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.
In January-December 2015, the retail trade turnover of large trade enterprises reached 9.186 trillion soums or increased by 9% in comparison with January-December 2014.
In the structure of the retail trade the share of turnover of large trade enterprises was 12.9%.
The trade turnover of small business increased by 16% and reached 61.84 trillion soums. Share of sales in the total retail trade turnover was 87.1%.
In the total volume of small business turnover the sale of goods in the informal sector was 10.844 trillion soums or 9.8% higher than in January-December 2014.
The share of this sector in the total volume of turnover was 15.3%.
