Results of project “With diploma to business” announced

One of such project is “With diploma to business”, which is implemented in cooperation with the Central Bank of Uzbekistan. The project is directed at helping to employment of graduates of higher and secondary special educational establishments, as well as attraction of them to business activities.

In 2009-2013, over 6,000 students improved their knowledge on doing business within the project and 2,806 of them received over 13 billion soums of soft loans to start their business activities. The project helped to create over 6,000 jobs, of which 26% - in service sector, 31% - agriculture and production and 12% - business and trade.

This year, about 1,530 young people participated in the project, of them 970 received certificates to obtain preferential loans from commercial banks. About 100 youth were received to party.
