Requirement for passing tests for coronavirus for passengers canceled by a special republican commission

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As you know, in order to create more favorable conditions for citizens during the quarantine period, the Special Republican Commission based on the study of foreign experience from 18 May a requirement was introduced to take coronavirus tests for passengers flying from Tashkent to Nukus, Urgench, Termez (there and back), as well as those leaving by rail, including the Afrosiyab train, from Tashkent to Navoi, Bukhara, Karshi and the Ferghana Valley.

Given the economic situation of the population under quarantine, as well as the need to preserve the social distance of passengers during travel, as well as preventing unnecessary inconvenience for the inter-regional movement of citizens, this requirement was canceled by a special republican commission.

Passengers traveling on the above flights will no longer be required to provide a coronavirus test certificate.

However, it is necessary to comply with all quarantine rules in organizing air and rail transportation, including unconditional compliance with the number of passengers, disinfection and other sanitary requirements.
