Republic Council to coordinate works of mahallas

The Government of Uzbekistan approved a resolution on Republican Council on coordination activities of self-governing bodies and its structure.
According to the resolution, the Council is a collegial body, established to further improve the organizational principles of self-government bodies, to assist them in exercising their powers, develop concrete proposals and effective mechanism for the comprehensive study of the system and the problems in their activities.
Public charity fund Mahalla will be a working body of the Council, Norma.uz reported.
The document approved tasks, functions and rights of the Council, as well as regulations dedicated its activities.
