Representatives of the Ministry of the Future of the UAE conducted a training for representatives of state bodies of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A seminar on innovation management was held on 28 August at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for representatives of state bodies of Uzbekistan with the assistance of the Ministry of Cabinet and Future Affairs of the United Arab Emirates and the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The delegation, who arrived in Uzbekistan from the UAE, was led by the Assistant Director General for Strategy and Innovation, Supervision of the Strategy and Politics Sector, and the Muhammad bin Rashid Center for Public Sector Innovation of the Ministry of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Future of the United Arab Emirates Houd Al-Hashmi.

The purpose of the training seminar is to improve the skills of representatives of government bodies in the field of innovation, to disseminate a culture of innovation among government employees. Based on the results of the training, the position will be implemented in charge of innovation in ministries and departments.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov, active work is underway in our country to retrain local staff in 17 main areas of cooperation. A series of seminars and trainings were held on 2 components, including the provision of public services and an assessment of government performance. Civil servants gain new skills and knowledge from leading international experts.

- The system of continuing education, including continuing education and retraining courses, is an integral part of the development of flexible human resources. The large-scale work on improving public servants and changing the way of thinking towards innovation and flexibility, carried out by the governments of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the UAE, will bring significant and effective results to the work of government bodies, contributing to the improvement of the country’s socio-economic level in the long term,” Aziz Abdukhakimov emphasized.

It is worth noting that in the ministries and departments of the UAE, the position of “Responsible for the introduction of innovations” has been introduced in order to introduce innovations by increasing the efficiency of work in the UAE government. It provides excellent work in introducing innovations in state bodies and spreading the culture of innovations among all public sector employees, and also offers ideas, develops innovative initiatives and strengthens the leading role of the UAE.

The Ministry of the Future of the UAE launched a system of state excellence, which is the first of its kind in the whole world. The system is designed to promote government trends in innovation.

In recent years, the initiatives of the person responsible for introducing innovations have achieved significant success in spreading the culture of innovation among all public sector employees.
