Representatives of business circles of Japan expressed their sympathy to the residents of Bukhara and Syrdarya regions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Words of sympathy continue to arrive in Uzbekistan in connection with the natural disaster in Bukhara region and the breakthrough of the dam of the reservoir in Syrdarya region, Dunyo reports.

Representatives of Japanese business circles of Japan expressed solidarity with the people of our country.

Nobuhiko Shima, chairman of the Japan-Uzbekistan Friendship Association:

- I want to express on behalf of the Japan-Uzbekistan Friendship Association the words of sympathy and support for the victims of natural disasters in connection with a storm wind in the Bukhara region and damage to the Sardoba Dam in Syrdarya region.

At this difficult moment, we witnessed how the Uzbeks joined forces to help the victims, and the country's leadership promptly made maximum efforts to resolve the situation.

The measures taken at the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to organize the construction and repair of the housing of the affected population, as well as providing them with household appliances, deserve high marks.

Kenjiro Masuda, Executive Director of Nissin Corporation:

- I would like to express my sincere sympathy to the leadership and people of Uzbekistan in connection with the natural disaster in the Bukhara region and the breakthrough of the dam of the reservoir in Syrdarya region.

It is necessary to emphasize the decisive and targeted measures taken by the leadership of Uzbekistan to provide residents with housing and to restore the affected regions. The President’s personal attention to the solution of the entire complex of reconstruction work, his close communication with the people, initiatives to resolve housing issues and provide comprehensive social support inspire confidence that the residents of these two regions will soon overcome these challenges with dignity.

I would like to especially note such qualities of the Uzbek people as solidarity and empathy for the pain of their compatriots
