Release of postage stamp on the occasion of 150th Birth Year of Mahatma Gandhi by Government of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- This year is the 151st birth anniversary year of Mahatma Gandhi. Government of Uzbekistan has supported and participated in many events related to these celebrations.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev wrote foreword for the book published on Mahatma Gandhi. Government of Uzbekistan has also agreed to release a postage stamp on Mahatma Gandhi on 2 October 2019.

Representatives of  Ministry of  Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Central Post Office of Uzbekistan took part in the event along with Ambassador Shri Santosh Jha.T
