Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Uzbekistan approved a regulation on the procedure and volumes of providing medical care using traditional medicine methods.
According to the Regulation, traditional medicine is a recognized prophylaxis, diagnosis and treatment method for traditional medicine, based on the experience of ancestors, which have been confirmed in folk traditions.
One can engage in medical activities using one or more of the following traditional medicine methods:
- invasive (violation of the integrity of the skin);
- non-invasive;
- biologically invasive;
- the use of dietary and herbal medicine.
Licensing of activities to provide services using traditional medicine methods is carried out in the manner prescribed for licensing medical activities (with the exception of the requirement regarding the availability of medical education).
