Regular Tashkent–Ulan-Ude Flight Launched

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 1 April, the first flight on the Tashkent–Ulan-Ude route took off from Baikal International Airport.

The new regular route provides Uzbek residents with convenient access to Central Asia and creates new opportunities for tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between the two countries.

Flights will be operated weekly by the Uzbek airline Centrum Air, every Wednesday, on a permanent basis.

Currently, Ulan-Ude is served by 20 regular flights covering the Russian Far East, Siberia, and central regions of the country—from Moscow to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk—as well as intermunicipal flights to Taksimo and Nizhneangarsk.

In addition, a charter flight to the Chinese city of Sanya is also in operation.
