Regional Knowledge Network Mission visited CER

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 October, a group of World Bank specialists visited Center for Economic Research (CER) within the Regional Knowledge Network Identification mission to discuss possible opportunities of cooperation in the implementation of the joint WBI-CAEWDP flagship initiative on building a regional knowledge network of institutions and communities of practice in broad natural resource management issues, including water-agriculture-energy-climate change aspects.

The initiative aims at convening various sector specific expert communities, institutions and initiatives across the Central Asia countries to enable free flow of ideas, knowledge, help build trust and confidence, and serve a gateway to global networks and sources of knowledge,the press service of the CER reported.

During the meeting, CER shared its experience and expertise in implementing initiatives and projects related to natural resource management, food security, green economy, urbanization etc.
