During the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on creation of football academy of Real Madrid, the UFF press service said.
Mirabrar Usmanov said that parents of many children in Uzbekistan were happy to hear that Real Madrid will open its academy in Uzbekistan. He added that parents wish to see their children good football player. “I am sure Real Madrid academy in Tashkent will become one of such places, which will have great conditions,” he said.
Speaking about current state of the Uzbek football, Mirabror Usmanov underlined that Uzbekistan pays great attention to development of children football and all works are carried out on initiative of the Uzbek President Islam Karimov. He said that opening of the Real academy is another step in this direction.
Carlos Escudero de Burón said that the Foundation created 167 academies in 55 countries and over 30,000 children train at them. He also said that in some countries Real Madrid also feed in some countries.
