Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 January 2020, at the first plenary meeting, the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan elected Ravshan Alimov chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, Foreign Economic Relations, Foreign Investments and Tourism.
He previously served as head of the Department for Cooperation with the CIS Countries of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
