Rain partially floods 543 yards in Kasansay district

On 18 May 2018 at 17.30 on the territory of mahalla gatherings of citizens Rovot, Guzar, Bog, Soyboyi, Honkurgan, Yangishahar, Yangiyul, "Kozokovul and Bulakboshi of Kasansay district of Namangan region, about 543 houses were flooded in the result of heavy rains.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan, irrigation networks have not coped with abundant rainfall and water accumulated in lowland areas of settlements. Socially significant objects were not affected. Evacuation of people from areas of flooding was not carried out.
In order to eliminate the consequences of a heavy rainfall in the regional khokimiyat of Kasansay district, an operational staff was established headed by the khokim of Kasansay district.
The staff consists of representatives of the Emergency Ministry and Interior Affairs Ministry and others.
There are no victims and injured.
