Putin said that supply of agriculture products from Uzbekistan rose significantly. He expressed gratitude to the Uzbek leader for assistance in supply of fruits and vegetables.
Russian leader said total supplies from Uzbekistan grew by 10% and on some goods, deliveries rose several times. He said that supplies of vegetables rose ten times, grapes – 20 times, citrus – 54 times.
Vladimir Putin said that this is significant for the Russian market. He added that this is great support for the Uzbek farmers as well.
Putin said that the volume of trade decreased in dollar terms, but in the ruble the trade turnover up in and the physical volume grew. He said that the growth is preserved in the first quarter of 2016 as well.
