Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution “On measures to organize timely and high-quality harvesting of crops sown for the 2020 harvest”.

In accordance with the resolution, 3. 02 million  tons of grain, including 293.5 thousand tons of seeds, will be purchased from the 2020 harvest for state resources.

To implement measures to ensure the stability of grain prices in the domestic market, the resolution established prices for the purchase of cereal grain for state resources from the 2020 harvest. In particular, the purchase price of 1 ton of durum wheat of the 1st class is 2,543,180 soums (together with value added tax).

All grain procurement enterprises and grain clusters will purchase additional grain in accordance with agreements at prices agreed with farms.
