President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev set such a task at a meeting on provision of public services to population, the "Akhborot 24" program of the "Uzbekistan 24" TV channel reported.

Uzbekistan introduces new types of driving licenses. Up to 2021, more than 5 million driving licenses must be renewed in the country. However, only 3-5 bodies issue driving licenses in the regions, and 49 - in general in Uzbekistan.

To date, the number of public service centers is 201. A traffic safety officer will be assigned to each center to issue driving licenses.
